Privacy Policy

How personal information is collected, used, shared and retained.

01About this notice

This notice covers UnblockNow at www.unblocknow.in and the account, vehicle-contact, organization and purchase features described below. The existing website identifies the brand as a product of Gwen Tech Solutions. Contact the existing support channel, rescue@unblocknow.in, for privacy questions and requests.

Acknowledging this notice records that it was presented to you. It is not unlimited permission to use your information for future purposes. This English version describes the current implementation and is not a certification of legal compliance.

02Information collected

Account information includes your name, mobile number, optional or subsequently supplied email and profile details, verification and login information, and any delivery addresses you choose to save. We record the version, time and context of your agreement, age declaration and, for organizations, authority declaration. We do not collect an identity document merely to support these checkbox declarations.

Vehicle information includes registration details, type, profile information, vehicle-owner relationships, permissions, QR activation and transfer records. Supported uploads include RC, insurance, driving licences, pollution certificates, vehicle images and other voluntarily supplied documents. Maintenance, fuel, expense, receipt and related operational information is collected when you use those features.

Orders contain the recipient name, contact details, shipping address, selected products, order history, invoice information and payment confirmation or transaction references. Payment details entered in the payment provider’s interface are processed by that provider.

Organization services collect community or company information, administrator and staff contacts, resident or driver information, permissions, vehicle and parking records, and supported visitor, gate-entry, movement, inspection and incident records. Photographs and documents are collected where those features are used.

Communications include vehicle reports, contact requests, voice recordings and generated transcripts or translations where enabled, and support correspondence. Technical information can include IP address, browser and device details, session activity, derived anti-abuse identifiers, security events and permitted usage analytics.

03Purposes and choices

We use necessary information to create and secure accounts, verify contact channels, manage vehicles and permissions, route QR contact, deliver requested notifications, process payments, fulfill orders and provide support. Organization information supports the apartment or fleet features selected by the organization.

We use relevant records to prevent fraud and misuse, investigate incidents, maintain service security and meet applicable legal obligations. Optional document scanning and voice transcription process the content needed for the feature you choose. Review AI results for errors.

Optional marketing or other consent-based purposes require a separate choice where applicable. Declining unrelated optional processing does not prevent core registration or purchasing. Withdrawing processing necessary to deliver a chosen feature can mean that feature can no longer be provided.

04Contact details and public stickers

Managed QR contact can route reports or calls without showing the owner’s phone number to the scanner. Product formats differ: a number printed on a physical sticker is visible offline and cannot be remotely erased. Remove or replace such a sticker when the displayed number should no longer be public. Information you choose to put in a report or recording is shared with its intended recipient and may identify you.

05Service providers and other recipients

Cloud hosting, database and protected file-storage providers process account, service and uploaded information needed to operate the platform. Payment providers, including Cashfree for checkout, receive necessary customer and transaction information to process payments, confirm status and resolve disputes. Fulfillment and courier partners receive the name, address, contact number and order details needed to deliver physical products.

Verification, SMS, email, messaging and calling providers process contact details and relevant message or call information to verify accounts and deliver service communications. AI and speech-processing technology providers receive relevant documents, images, recordings or extracted content when you use enabled AI or transcription features.

Security, anti-abuse and email-validation services process relevant identifiers or contact information to protect accounts and reduce misuse. Analytics and performance services process permitted usage and technical information to understand and improve the service.

Authorized organization staff can access information within their assigned roles. Vehicle contact recipients receive the relevant reports. We may disclose information where legally required, to respond to valid legal requests or to address fraud, security incidents and disputes. Organizational customers must inform residents, drivers, visitors and staff of their own processing and recipients.

06Storage and international processing

Information is stored using cloud-based databases and protected file-storage services. Service providers may process information in India or other jurisdictions; this service does not promise India-only storage or processing. Applicable legal restrictions on international processing must be respected. This notice does not represent that particular overseas locations or contractual safeguards have been independently verified.

07Transfers and account closure

A verified vehicle transfer does not hand the new owner the previous owner’s personal driving licence or personal expense history. Supported vehicle documents are carried over only when selected through the transfer process; other document information is cleared from the transferred vehicle. Review selected files before sharing because vehicle documents can also contain personal details. The complete-data option intended for a change of your own mobile number preserves documents, including driving licence information; select the appropriate sale-transfer option when another person takes ownership.

The account-deletion flow removes or anonymizes profile and contact information, revokes sessions and removes associated personal vehicle documents and expense files. An account reference, orders, payment records and reports can remain for recordkeeping, security and disputes. Deletion and storage cleanup can take time and do not remove information already printed on stickers or independently held by recipients.

08Retention and deletion

Account and profile information is used while the account is active. On account closure, profile details are removed or anonymized through the deletion process. Necessary residual records can be retained for legal obligations, disputes and evidence of transactions and agreements. Retention must be limited to the relevant purpose and applicable legal requirements.

Vehicle and document information is held for authorized vehicle management. Verified transfer applies the document-sharing choices described above; account or vehicle deletion removes personal documents through the relevant process. Removing a vehicle from an account is distinct from destroying every operational or historical record about it.

Voice-note playback ends after 30 days. Audio, transcripts and translations are then subject to cleanup; expiry of playback is not a promise of instantaneous erasure of all storage copies. Related report metadata and security or dispute records can remain. Ordinary QR reports do not currently have a single automatic deletion period and are retained for report history, abuse handling and disputes, subject to applicable erasure and legal-retention requirements.

Order, invoice and payment records remain after account deletion for fulfillment, tax and accounting, fraud prevention, refunds and disputes. Their required retention depends on the applicable record type and legal obligations; this notice does not assign an unverified fixed period. Abandoned unpaid orders have a separate cleanup policy and may be cancelled or deleted when that policy applies.

Apartment and fleet records support ongoing organization operations and authorized history. A plan’s viewing window is not a physical-deletion deadline. Apartment entry-record cleanup depends on a separately configured retention policy; without that policy records are not automatically deleted merely because history is no longer visible. Expiry or downgrade of a fleet plan does not itself delete vehicle, driver, document or operational records. Organizations must define and review lawful retention and request deletion where appropriate.

Security and verification records have purpose-specific expiry or retention rules. There is no single verified duration covering every security or analytics record. Retention depends on investigation needs, prevention of misuse and applicable legal obligations. Backup copies and legally retained records may persist after a deletion request; deletion from every backup is not instantaneous.

The DPDP framework has phased commencement. Its future-effective processing-data and log-retention requirements must be considered when finalizing the retention schedule. This notice does not claim those future requirements are already implemented or use them to justify unlimited retention.

09Security measures

The service uses access controls, protected authentication, restricted access to documents and protected communication and storage mechanisms to reduce unauthorized access. Security monitoring supports prevention and investigation of misuse. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your credentials and contact support about suspected compromise.

10Privacy requests, withdrawal and grievances

Contact rescue@unblocknow.in to request access to your information, correction, erasure, withdrawal of applicable consent or help with a privacy grievance. Identify the relevant account or organization and the request; we may need proportionate verification to avoid disclosing information to someone else. Do not send passwords, OTPs or PINs.

Use available profile controls and account deletion where appropriate. Organization-managed records may also require coordination with the organization. Erasure is subject to lawful retention, and consent withdrawal does not undo lawful processing already completed. You may ask support about nomination of another person to exercise applicable rights on death or incapacity under the DPDP framework when those provisions apply.

Rights and escalation remedies depend on the law in force. The DPDP Act and final Rules take effect in phases; this notice does not describe future-effective statutory rights as already operational. You retain other applicable legal remedies.

11Cookies, local storage and analytics

The website uses browser storage and session technologies for authentication, cart continuity and related service functions. Usage analytics and session-replay features are present with restrictions on sensitive pages and masking of sensitive information. These protections do not mean every usage record is anonymous. Mandatory terms acceptance does not grant optional analytics consent; applicable consent choices require separate handling.

12Adults and incidental information about children

These registration and purchase flows are intended for adults aged 18 or older. A checkbox is not a complete age-verification or parental-consent system. Visitor records or public reports may incidentally contain information about children. Such processing and any guardian arrangements require separate assessment; an adult organization account does not authorize unrestricted collection of children’s information. Contact support if information about a child needs attention.

13Changes and language

The current notice is available at /privacy with its version. Material changes require appropriate notification through service notices or available contact channels, and a separate choice where renewed consent is legally required. Continued use is not blanket retroactive consent. This notice is in English; it does not claim that reviewed translations or all legally required language options are already available.

14Contact for privacy assistance

Use rescue@unblocknow.in or the Contact page to reach the existing support channel about privacy requests and complaints. This is not a representation that a named statutory grievance officer has been appointed.
